On Sunday April 28th, the Mile of Minis event starts at 8.30am with arrival and registration of all teams at MINI Plant Oxford. From here and following our bespoke road-book route, teams will head off the beaten track across Oxfordshire and into deepest darkest South Warwickshire.

Our final destination is the award winning classic and works division of Jaguar Land Rover, JLR Classic. Based just south of Coventry, it is here that the spirit, legend and mystery of classic Jaguars and Land Rovers is maintained and preserved. JLR Classic send their experts to the four corners of the globe to find discerning examples of these classic marques. A select number return to their birthplace and enter the JLR Works Legends Programme. JLR Classic offer a select number of original, collectable vehicles for sale and also service, maintain and restore a wider selection of these legendary vehicles. JLR Classic is custodian to some of the finest and rarest examples of these cars to be found anywhere in the world. We are lucky that on 28th April 2024 they throw open their doors to the Italian Job Mile of Minis.

The Mile of Minis is a safe and fun driving day out for classic and modern Mini owners and their families. It’s a chance to visiting MINI Plant Oxford and a genuinely unique venue as well as being opportunity to help children and families in need of support. The event is a fundraiser for Buttle UK and we are asking each team that participates to do their very best to raise a minimum of £30.00 for Buttle UK. You can rest assured that 100% of the money you raise and donate will be used by them in delivering life changing grants to families in crisis.
