The Yorkshire Job 2021 – June update

An all inclusive ‘mini-break’ for all Mini enthusiasts.

Great driving across Yorkshire’s stunning countryside! 3 Nights/4 Days from 14 to 17 October 2021 – Full Inclusive cost per person £ 519 Registration is open – Entry is limited to 50 Teams.

DAY 1 – Welcome to The Yorkshire Job 2021

Morning Registration and vehicle scrutineering at the Mercure Fairfield Hotel in York and the opportunity to meet fellow Jobbers over a relaxed welcome lunch. Following lunch there will be a drivers’ briefing after which you’ll be let loose on the roads of Yorkshire for an initial leg of our specially designed Italian Job navigational drive. This route will lead you up to Elvington Airfield (we’ll also detail the way back to the hotel). There will be an evening briefing on tomorrow’s route followed by dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 – Scarborough, Whitby & the Yorkshire Moors

The first car will leave York at 8.30am driving to Britain’s first seaside resort of Scarborough, home to the Scarborough Fair collection of classic cars, bikes, fairground rides and steam engines. During the course of the route today we will call in to the charming and picturesque fishing village of Robin`s Hood Bay and then drive on to the popular seaside town of Whitby for lunch. We’ll return to York for dinner following a scenic route through the stunning Dalby Forest.

DAY 3 – The Yorkshire Dales

Today we travel deep into the Yorkshire Dales featuring miles of scenic peaks, valleys and exciting views. There are so many amazing roads and passes in the Yorkshire Dales, but perhaps the best known is Buttertubs Pass near the small market town of Hawes. After lunch at the Green Dragon Inn in the charming village of Hardraw we will enjoy a special surprise prepared by a local Mini club before driving back to the hotel for a reception and farewell Gala Dinner (black tie ) at the hotel.

DAY 4- Halifax and the Piece Hall

Today we head to Halifax and Yorkshire`s most important secular building, The Piece Hall. It is a totally unique architectural and cultural phenomenon. Once there we will take a souvenir group photo, with The Piece Hall as our stunning backdrop. We will enjoy a final brunch together before we bid everyone farewell as we set off on our homeward journeys.
